James Kenneth "Nip" Keeling 87 Veedersburg died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday (Oct 28) in Provena, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill.  Mr. Keeling was a school bus driver, retiring in 1975. He was born April 15, 1912 in Fountain County to John and Dora Lee Payton Keeling. He married Vivian Brewer on Sept 1, 1924 at Veedersburg. She survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Bonnie A, Helms, Highland, Ill; Shay Andrews, El Cajon, Calif; Jolynn Slazas, Tustin, Calif and Sonnie Johnston, North Salem; two sons, Dean, Kingman and Dick, Hillsboro; a brother, Bob, Wynetown; a sister, Waneta Lynch, Staford, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.  Six brothers, a sister and son, Arthur are deceased. Funeral services are schedule for 11 a.m. Monday in Dickerson Funeral Home, 303 N Main St, Veedersburg with Rev. Rob Rixman officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemeter. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or Bonebrake Cemetery League - kbz
